These lute sonatas by Zamboni Romano are not only awfully beautiful, but also an extreme rarity. They are the only Italian lute compositions that I know of that are composed in the musically advanced, elaborate LATE baroque style. Almost all other (and quite often recorded) Italian lute compositions are from the early or high baroque period. Hope, that some folks appreciate this rare treasure. ;-)<br />
